Parent Views Count is an independent service which consults parents of children with special needs on planning children’s services for the future.
Who are we?
We represent parents with children of all abilities and all ages across Birmingham. Parent Views Count was developed by parents and is run by parents.
We influence positive change by:
- Providing our views at regular forum meetings
- Sharing information
- Influencing decisions at a strategic level
- Being active participants in the development and evaluation of services across Birmingham
Why should you participate?
- Services that are developed in partnership with parents are better used and more relevant
- Parents have first-hand knowledge of what works well and where there are gaps in services
- Our aim is to improve the lives of children, young people and families in Birmingham
